Rodney Rowland (February 20, 1964, in Newport Beach, California) is an American actor. He began his career as a model for luxury brands such as Gucci and Versace before transitioning to acting. His first major role was in the science fiction series Space: Above and Beyond (1995–1996), where he played Lieutenant Cooper Hawkes. He later appeared in The X-Files (1997) as Ed Jerse and had a recurring role in Veronica Mars (2006–2007). On the big screen, Rowland starred in The 6th Day (2000), Dancing at the Blue Iguana (2000), and Savaged (2013). In addition to film and television, he is active in theater and has established himself as a versatile performer. He studied at Pepperdine University and lived in Europe for a time, working as a model. Rowland is known for his intense performances and his ability to portray complex characters with emotional depth.
