Sofía Calisto Morales is a film student at Universidad Mayor. She is interested in everyday emotions and gestures that mark significant moments. Her first short film, "Mandarinas" (2024), explores the pain of teenage heartbreak from an intimate perspective. She is currently developing her cinematic language, with a particular interest in coming-of-age stories and narratives that represent the Sapphic community.
