Early on, she formed the "Happy Girls" group with Loletta Lee Lai-Chun, May Lo Mei-Wei and Charine Chan Ka-Ling, starring in the Happy Ghost series. In the early 1990s, she appeared in many Wuxia films such as The Swordsman and Tai Chi Master, earning praise for her heroic image.
