Roberto Florez Muñoz is a director and editor at Saqras Films. His debut feature, "La última función" (2015), won the National Short Film Competition organized by the Directorate of Audiovisual, Phonography, and New Media (DAFO) of the Ministry of Culture. "La Hoyada," his first short documentary, was selected for festivals such as the International Festival of New Latin American Cinema (Cuba) and the Toulouse Latin American Film Festival (France). "The Last Semester" (2021) is his latest short film. He is currently working on his first feature film, "El huatrila," which won one of the awards in the 2019 DAFO National Competition for Feature Film Projects (Alternative Incentive).
