Clouds 1973

Directed by Boris Stepanov

The young man who dreamed of a career in aviation failed the medical exam. Yet, he did not give up on his dream: he worked, trained, and listened to the advice of those with more experience. The following year, his vestibular system was no better, and the medical board rejected him once again. Still, he refused to accept defeat; he took a job at the airport workshop and, before long, soared into the sky in a plane he had repaired with his own hands.
