Periferias interiores 2009

Directed by Sergio García Locatelli

A city that, viewed from self-imposed exile, becomes an object of longing and nostalgia. Winter is the best time to capture Lima—an ideal season to see its gray sky and wander through the mist in the heart of this Latin American metropolis. In the historic center—currently undergoing renewal—the aristocratic past coexists with the residents who migrated to the capital in pursuit of the "Lima dream."
