After five years of married life, Ismail and Maisarah are finally blessed with a child. Their lives become increasingly happy after the birth of Yusuf, but only temporarily when they are involved in an accident and Yusuf is confirmed to be permanently paralyzed. Shortly after that, Maisarah is also involved in an accident and dies. Ismail's world continues to change, he must work hard to care for Yusuf to the point that Yusuf's welfare begins to be neglected.
